I thought it would be useful to list all the government's AI guidance in one place, as it is a little spread out on the gov.uk website.
The DfE's core support materials were updated in May 2026. The update added new content on SEND support plans, inclusion, school operations, and an expanded safeguarding section covering cognitive offloading and AI detection tools. All four staff modules and the leadership toolkit were refreshed at the same time.
