Safeguarding Companion
AĀ members-only, audio-first CPD series created for anyone with responsibility for safeguarding in schools
Each short audio session is presented by Andrew Hall, former headteacher and specialist safeguarding consultant. The sessions are intended to help you step back, notice patterns, and think more clearly about the safeguarding responsibilities you are carrying, whether you are a DSL, deputy, headteacher, governor, or part of a wider safeguarding or pastoral team.
New sessions are added regularly. They draw on current safeguarding issues, learning from serious case reviews, and Andrew’s experience working in schools across four decades, offering ideas and perspectives you can take into supervision, DSL meetings, and wider staff conversations.
You can listen wherever it suits you, on your commute, in your office, or during a short walk.
No screens. No slides.
Just time to pause, think, and strengthen your safeguarding practice.
